We are reaching out on behalf of Mobile Migrant Health Team MMHT, an organization of medical students across Chicago that exemplarily has been responding to the health needs of Chicago’s migrant population, most recently being involved with the city’s measles outbreak response team at the Halsted Shelter.
We need your help. Our team is looking for:
– VOLUNTEER UIC PHYSICIANS to help staff health screening and testing runs at the South Halsted Shelter (South Loop) – these runs can only be staffed by UIH-affiliated physicians due to insurance reasons. However, we still have a need for non UI-affiliated physicians at shelters across the city.
