Join us at the Blue Door Neighborhood Center to make sure our screening event with the National Kidney Foundation of Illinois is a success. We will be provide comprehensive health screenings for the community. Screenings will include Blood Pressure, Blood Glucose, Blood Draw, Body Mass Index (BMI), Waist Circumference, Private Consultation, and urinalysis.
Visiting Research Specialist – University of Illinois at Chicago
The Visiting Research Specialist will be working on a research project comparing the effects of different programs on improving genetic counseling, genetic testing, and risk-based breast healthcare services among 120 Latinas who are at elevated for breast cancer (e.g., family history, personal history, etc.) and who are FQHC/Mile Square patients. The research team will also be examining the “ripple” effects the programs have among 100 family and friends of the FQHC/Mile Square patients.
