Afro-Latinx/es/as/os in Medicine USA. Estatus, Contribuciones y Retos para una Agenda Inclusiva

This panel event is an opportunity for Afrolatinx/as/os/es (Hereafter Afro-LHS+) physicians and trainees as well as allies to come together and discuss important issues that pertain to being Afro-LHS+ and building a successful career in medicine.
The Afro-LHS+ identity comes with a very unique perspective on the intersection of race, ethnicity, language, and culture as well as its own barriers to inclusivity and success in medicine. LMSA and MOLA want to uplift our Afro-LHS+ health professionals and provide needed support and resources to thrive in healthcare and medicine.
