Visiting Scholars Program

The Diversity and Inclusion Visiting Scholars Program (D&I VSP) offers students rotations several residency programs. Students will receive a living stipend, mentoring, opportunities to interact with the Housestaff DEI committee, and opportunities for community service participation. Rotations take place between July-October each year.
We seek exceptional medical students who have demonstrated a commitment to health equity and addressing health and healthcare disparities in underserved and marginalized communities.
Students must be:
  • Currently pursuing a medical degree at an LCME-accredited institution
  • In good academic standing
  • Will have completed all required M3 core rotations by June 30, 2025
  • Are a US citizen, permanent resident, or of asylee, refugee, or DACA status
  • Deadline is June 30, 2025
