Isa Álvarez (she/ella) graduated from the University of Chicago in 2019 with a B.A. in History, Philosophy, and Social Studies of Science and Medicine (HIPS). In 2024, she completed the Post-Baccalaureate Premedical Program at Washington University in St. Louis.

Her interests include reproductive and sexual health, immigrant health and rights, medical advocacy, and medical education. Isa began her involvement with MOLA as a leader in the Aves del Paraíso program before assuming the role of Program Manager. She now serves on MOLA’s Board of Directors, where she continues supporting the organization’s mission and fostering inclusive spaces that elevate underrepresented voices in healthcare.

Isa is currently a medical student at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine.
