We introduce you to Ramiro Ramirez (he/él)
Ramiro Ramirez is a Master of Healthcare Administration student at the University of Iowa with a passion for health equity, hospital operations, and community-centered care. Originally from Berwyn, Illinois, he spent seven years at Culver’s and gained additional experience in manufacturing, forging, and blood services, where he supported quality and safety initiatives. A proud graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign (Go Illini!), he is currently interning at Stead Family Children’s Hospital on projects focused on access, integration, and patient experience. When he’s not thinking about systems improvement, Ramiro’s always happy to offer a healthcare insight, or a frozen custard recommendation. (Hint: don’t sleep on the flavor of the day!)
