The Chicago Medical Organization for Latino Advancement (MOLA) is a non-profit association of Chicagoland Hispanic/Latino physicians working for career advancement, linguistic and cultural competency, personal wellness, and reduced health disparities for the good of the entire Hispanic/Latino community.

Goals and Impact
MOLA members (physicians, researchers, residents, medical students and other healthcare professionals) advance their knowledge to close the gap in health care disparities and research within the Latino population. Continuing Medical Education (CME) Credits units are offered for participants. |

Addressing health disparities through educational and public health direct interventions in our communities. This comprehensive program includes a mentorship component to inspire, train, and mentor students from high school level through residency training, as well as Health Fair community screenings and education. To maximize student impact, our events take place on a weekly basis, and only select key events are included below. |

MOLA’s contribution to advance and Wellness for our members. Physicians and other health care professionals lack education in finances and organizational management and are exposed to burn-out, given the current challenges of the health care system. These events respond to the need to close the gap in financial, legal and stress management for MOLA’s members. |
