MOLA Member appointed to Health and Human Services’ Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s

MOLA Member and nurse practitioner, Dr. María de los Ángeles Ordóñez, is the only Hispanic/Latina appointed to a 4-year with the US Secretary of Health and Human Services to represent healthcare providers on the Advisory Council on Alzheimer’s Research Care and Services. The Council makes recommendations to the Secretary and Congress about how to reduce the burden of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias, an area of great need in the Latino community.
