UT Southwestern Medical Center Department of Pediatrics, Division of Developmental‐ Behavioral Pediatrics is seeking an outstanding pediatrician for a faculty position for the Rees‐ Jones Center for Foster Care Excellence at UT Southwestern/Children’s Health Dallas.
As a Foster Care Pediatrician, the individual will provide primary care for children and youth who are in Child Protective Services custody due to child abuse or neglect. Faculty can expect a well‐ balanced career in teaching and clinical medicine, with opportunities for research and advocacy in foster care.
Applicants must be eligible for licensure in the state of Texas and be board eligible or certified in Pediatrics. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. Consideration may be given to applicants seeking less than a full‐time schedule. Special consideration will be given to those pediatricians with prior training in General Academic Pediatrics and/or MPH and those pediatricians with experience working with populations of children with complex medical/social challenges.
