The 2020 Hilda López-Arce Scholarship Application is Now Available

Hilda López-Arce Scholarship- For Latinx Undergraduate Students at the University of Illinois at Chicago

Each year the Hilda López-Arce Scholarship Selection Committee, in conjunction with the Chancellor’s Committee on the Status of Latinos and the Latina Network, awards a $500 scholarship to a Latinx student who exhibits leadership qualities and who has made contributions to the Latinx community.

Eligibility Requirements:

❖ Must be a UIC undergraduate Latin@ student enrolled in the Spring 2020 and Fall 2020 semesters.
❖ Must be in good academic standing (GPA min 3.00) with a minimum of 12 credit hours earned.
❖ Must demonstrate active involvement in the Latino community on or off the UIC campus.
❖ This scholarship is open to UIC undocumented students (with or without DACA).

For fullest consideration, applications must be submitted online via UIC SnAP by 11:59 p.m., Friday, April 24, 2020. Any applications missing any supporting documents will not be considered.
