MOLA Llegar-a-Cero Coordinator

Dear MOLA family,

We have an exciting opportunity as a MOLA Llegar-a-Cero Coordinator. This position is funded through a Get-to-Zero Illinois (GTZ-IL) Initiative’s grant, which aims to end the HIV epidemic in the state by 2030. MOLA’s Llegar-a-Cero program integrates the work of several programs: Public Health, Mentorship, Development, Education & Research, and Advocacy.

MOLA’s Llegar-a-Cero aligns and will advance multiple GTZ-IL goals around the areas of healthcare workforce development, health education, and equity. This project is an opportunity to enhance MOLA’s work with Latinx Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual and Transgender individuals. LGBT Latinx have been historically marginalized due to their gender identity, sexual orientation and ethnicity. MOLA will provide these individuals with a secure, affirming, and inclusive place to receive mentorship and engage in community activities, embracing inclusion and equity without fear of violence, discrimination, or bigotry.

The Llegar-a-Cero Coordinator will be responsible for implementing and overseeing execution of MOLAs GTZ grant in coordination with programs’ committees involved, and evaluating the project, including data analysis and reports. Data collected will include demographics, awareness, social media sentiment analysis, knowledge of HIV prevention, intentions to engage in care, and commitment to GTZ-IL.
