Nico is a medical student at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. As director of the Medical Student Committee, he is eager to support MOLA’s effort to unite Latino physicians with the goal of curbing Latino disparities in health and career opportunities, while providing a vital medical student perspective on mentorship and educational opportunities for medical students, pre-med students, and members of the Latino community. As the president of the Latino Medical Student Association at Northwestern, Nico has already been an active voice raising important issues such as medical Spanish, high school programs, and advocacy events to our administration as well as students.  He is passionate about advocacy issues including topics such as DACA and gun-control. He has also been very active in research involving Hispanic/Latino health disparities.
