Dr. Margarita Mankus is board certified in pediatrics by the American Board of Pediatrics. She received her Doctor of Medicine degree from the Ponce School of Medicine and Health Sciences, located in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Dr. Mankus then completed a residency in pediatrics at the University of Illinois Hospital and Health Sciences, located in Chicago, IL. In addition to her education, Dr. Mankus is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Medical Women’s Association. Dr. Mankus has a strong interest in mentorship and scholarship that developed after serving a year as a chief resident of her pediatric residency
