Arielle Breanna Guzman, MPH
Currently accountable as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC), Arielle’s main responsibilities include coordinating events and meetings within the Pediatric research department, recording minutes at research and Global Health meetings, and corresponding with faculty to regularly manage their research projects and grants. She also serves as the lead administrator for a summer student research mentorship and paid fellowship program within the Pediatrics department. Prior to working at UIC, Arielle was a Research Assistant at Mount Sinai Hospital. There, she evaluated the effect of the Affordable Care Act on breast cancer outcomes. She received her master’s degree in public health at Loyola University Chicago, where she concentrated in Epidemiology. Her community work includes volunteering in a rehabilitation center, serving as President of her undergraduate university’s “Timmy Global Health” chapter (a medical service organization), and leading a diabetes prevention program as a Lifestyle coach.
